Learning for Action
Flexible funding, specifically for impact measurement
In June 2024, the GitLab Foundation launched a new capacity-building initiative: the Learning for Action Fund. The fund allows existing foundation grantees to apply for up to $50,000 in additional funding that is explicitly targeted for learning activities. Our goal is to increase organizations’ capacity for impact measurement, learning, experimentation and feedback activities.
The fund will prioritize projects committed to acting on the generated learnings. Our definition of “action” in this context is two-fold:
Learnings that lead to improved program or product design
Learnings that unlock additional funding due to improved abilities to demonstrate program, product, or project effectiveness
Only GitLab Foundation grantees with a grant contract effective date before August 1, 2024, are currently eligible for this funding opportunity.
